In August, 2015, we presented at the Games in Education Symposium. Our topic for this presentation was the work we did in Spring, 2015, putting tabletop game design into a high school. We learned a lot about backwards engineering, empathetic design, and creative compromise, and it is clear to us that game design, particularly for tabletop, holds a lot of potential as a way for students to learn many important skills.

The slideshow goes over the course itself, what we learned, and how other teachers can replicate the program at low cost.
