Students at Oak Heights Elementary, with the help of recording professionals at foundry10, put together an album of children’s books displaying some of the music they had been practicing during the school year. Arrangements ranged from student narration and sound effects to student composed and generated music. Students from the school also contributed artwork for the CD jackets. At the end of the project, each student got to take home a CD to share with their family. The classes learned valuable skills while participating in the recording process and the music teacher, Patti Casey, was able to fulfill a career-long dream.
